Piha Camp

When we got there we had lunch straight away, after lunch we got to explore Piha. The thing i wanted to do the most was to get to know each other.

Summer School

This was bad, “I’m in big trouble” I said to myself. It was the last day of school and a I got a bad report. I never get bad reports. So I just got home and I showed it to my parents, they said to me i’m going to attend Summer School !

It was the next day, I got up and got dressed, didn’t bother brushing my teeth because I’m the only one that’s going to be at summer school.
What!! I guess I was wrong there’s like one hundred kids here, “what smells bad” I heard someone say. I ran to class and sat all the way at the back.


Suddenly someone gave me a not and just walked off, I didn’t know if it was a boy or a girl. So I started to read the note it said “ meet me outside after school near the cafeteria. “I’ll take that” said Mr winston “No” I said. Then Mr winston red the note out loud to the class and everyone laughed like it was the end of the world.


So the first day of summer school was finished I ran out as quickly as I could to the cafeteria and waited there for about five minutes there was a bunch of boys headed towards me then I heard the beep, I ran to my car and hopped in, Phew finally, as I looked out the window the boys the that were coming towards be looked lost.


“How did you do at school today” Mum asked No homework I replied.
Went up stairs and took a shower. Came back downstairs and heard someone crying I went and looked it was my mum, she told me that my younger brother was beaten up by a bunch of boys, I asked my little brother if one of them were tall and had ginger hair. he said yes.

It was the second day of summer school and I marched up to the bunch of boys and I punched three out of four on the head and ran to class a sat down all the way at the back so they wouldn’t find me. I went to get out of my chair then I accidentally tripped Mr Winston and said Detention.

David Copperfield Summarise

This Term in my reading group I'm reading David Copperfield by Charles Dickens

Peggotty brought  up the idea to take a trip to Yarmouth for a treat. They needed permission .David was standing at the door watching his Mum and Mr Murdstone walking towards the house. David was jealous of this man. He did not like his deep voice.  Mum was soon kissing David off to Yarmouth.

Ratio Problem

Isaiah bought a bag of Apples, In the bag there were 3 red apples and 4 green apples. 

How many Greens and how many Reds would there be in 6 bags, 8 bags and 12 bags.

Chapter 3 Is talking about jack at his rugby league game against the carlton park team and jack gets a try and it was 4:0 to them but a few minutes later the score was 21:4 to carlton park boys and then after the halftime it was 36:4 to the carlton pak team and then they finally get a supporter Jacks dad.7.5.  After he gets injured and his dad runs with his first aid box and Jack groans with his pain because he was not going to make the rep team because they got thrashed. 9.5.

Mother's Day

My mother: She is gentle and she is loving and caring and she gives her time to help us with our school work. My mother is like air to a balloon and my mom wakes up and prepares everything.

I love my mother yes I do, for she is the one that has been there too! I love my mother yes i do. For if I had no mother like the one I do, I would be lonely. I love my mother yes I do for she is the one that taught me too.

Basketball Experience


Boing Boing went the ball. It was just after line up, Mrs Tui told us to go line up near the courts, while my cousin and I helped our coach, coach Bruce and coach Dwayne. Dwayne played for the Auckland Pirates. We started our session getting into groups. Next we learnt how to dribble.


Coach Bruce was teaching us a new game, there were four types of cones, Yellow, White, Red and Blue. Coach Bruce started to speared the cones on the court. So the point of the game was to dribble the ball and flip your coloured cone and then pass the ball to the other person in your team.

After that some of the teams went to the other end of the court and the other team went to the other end. We had to get the ball run to half way and run back and shoot the ball into the hoop, We only had three chances to take the shot and then pass it to the other person in your team.


When coach Bruce blew the whistle I knew that time was up for Room Seven Basketball session but there is always next week. We said thank you to the two coaches and left the court for the next class to come.
I had great time, I can’t wait for next week.

boy called John in his Rugby League game. Once he got the ball he saw the team that he was vs was growing over him. When he got hit by the other team they could hear his bones cracking. When he got up he was running with the line and got the ball again.

All his teammates got afraid when they heard his bones crack.

Glen Innes primary Worm Farm

After lunch Room 6 and 7 headed of to Glen Innes primary to check out their worm farm. So we finally wretched Glen Innes primary, it’s not a long walk from Saint Pius to G.I. primary. We walked through the gates and we saw their pool and a little tin house and I thought to myself that must be the worm farm.


The person in charge of a worm farm was a teacher, he let us look inside of the worm farm.  It was just a bunch of bananas and paper.
After a while we got to see the worms. And we also got the chance to see their garden. There were all sorts of fruit and vegetables, Yum.

Faith Assembly

The bell rang, St Pius gathered in the hall for Room 7's assembly. We started of with Ofa started with the sign of cross in Maori. Catherine, Siliva and Angelica were co-anchors for room seven T.V. station. Siliva said he was going to cross live to Me and Robbie in room 1 but it wasn't really live and they did that with all the other classes. After they finished we did our rap, it didn't go as good as I thought.... It went a whole lot better and we also got the school to join us with our rap and song. So at the end the assembly went better than I thought.

Tennis !!!!

I want my reader to understand what I'm saying and think what is going in this past experience.

On my way to school, I had just remembered after line up we had tennis . So after line Room seven ran off to the tennis court. Once we got in the tennis court we saw there was tennis equipment set up.

Marcel our tennis instructor told us how to hold the tennis racket, after that he told the girls to get a ball and racket. next he told the boys to get a racket and a ball.

After a while he taught us some amazing technique to do with my racket, my favorite technique was to throw the ball up then make bounce then catch the ball with our racket with out making it bounce on the string part on the racket it was hard.

After the technique he taught room seven a new game called king of the court, I was the king of the court at the end with four other people at the end.

After tennis we thanked Marcel and exited the court. It was an exciting experience for room 7 and me, I can’t wait till next time.

Margaret Aylward established a group of catholic ladies. She was originally born in Waterford Ireland in 1810. This is a picture of our school emblem on a tree. It represent Saint Pius X school students because we are the branches of that tree.
